Today, we are excited to announce an important milestone in our release lifecycle: Datapath Version 12.2 will be officially graduating to our "Current" release status on 20th Apr 2026 !

By establishing 12.2 as our current standard, we are also making room for the future—paving the way for the upcoming introduction of Version 12.3 as our next "New" release, which has already been thoroughly battle-tested in our on-premises deployments.

How and when is this happening? For customers who have Let Barracuda manage my datapath version selected within their WAF-as-a-Service configuration, the automated rollout of Version 12.2 will begin , starting today.

You can simply sit back and relax. Thanks to the high availability and redundancy built directly into our WAF-as-a-Service regions, this upgrade is fully automated and will occur seamlessly with zero downtime to your applications.

For Self-Managed Accounts: If your account is not set to auto-manage, this lifecycle update serves as a friendly reminder of the benefits of running the latest current firmware. We highly encourage you to manually upgrade to Version 12.2 at your earliest convenience to take advantage of the latest performance and security standards.
