We are pleased to announce that we will be upgrading the current datapath from version 11.0 to version 12.0 for all WAF-as-a-Service customers who have selected to Let Barracuda manage my datapath version within their WAF-as-a-Service account configuration. This process will begin on Sunday 2nd April.

The upgrade process is fully automated and due to the multiple redundancies within WAF-as-a-Service regions there will be no downtime during the rollout.

For those customers who have selected not to Let Barracuda manage my datapath version, this announcement also begins the notice period for the End of Life of version 11 which will be on Sunday 2nd July.

This change will not affect any customer who has already manually upgraded to datapath version 12.0.

Finally, please note that the legacy North America and West Europe regions will remain on the old version 10.1 datapath and is not affected by this announcement. We plan to deprecate them in the future but, we will continue to operate and fully support these regions until such time that we make the formal announcements starting the notice period for their End of Life. In the meantime, if you have no technical reason not to, please continue to migrate your applications too other regions to access the new features we have been releasing for the new datapath versions.
